Blinck is operated by an independent individual based in Germany. Throughout this policy, Blinck is referred to as we, us, or our.

2. What We Collect

We collect only what is needed to run, support, and improve Blinck.

This includes:

• Information you provide
• Account details when you sign in or create an account, such as your email address and authentication data
• Tasks, notes, goals, reflections, and messages
• Any content you enter into the app
• App activity, such as screens, features, and interactions
• Event data and usage patterns
• Performance logs and error reports
• Subscription, entitlement, trial, and payment status, but not full payment card details
• Device and app version
• Basic connection and diagnostic data

Free users can use Blinck with local data stored on their device. Paid users can also use account-based features such as sync across devices.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

• Operate and maintain Blinck
• Display your content on your device
• Sync your content across devices when your plan includes sync
• Improve features and performance
• Run analytics and understand product usage
• Detect bugs, abuse, or technical issues
• Manage subscriptions and billing status
• Process AI planning and chat requests when you use those features
• Send necessary service emails
• Send push notifications related to your account or activity

We do not sell your data.

4. Services We Use

To operate Blinck, we may rely on service providers that process data on our behalf. These may include providers for authentication, database and sync infrastructure, subscriptions and purchase management, analytics, and AI processing.

For example, Blinck may use Supabase, Superwall, Apple services, OpenAI, and PostHog where relevant to the feature you use and the current app configuration.

5. Emails and Notifications

We currently send only transactional emails, such as:

• Account access
• Security or login messages
• Billing and subscription notices

Push notifications may be used to support your experience, such as reminders, updates, or system messages.

6. Who Can Access Your Data

Your data is private.

In limited cases, we may access user data to:

• Provide customer support
• Investigate bugs or system errors
• Prevent abuse or misuse
• Keep the Service running correctly

We do not read or use user content for any purpose unrelated to operating Blinck.

You can:

• View and edit your data
• Remove your content
• Delete your account at any time

If you need a copy of account data that is stored on our systems, contact us and we will review the request in line with applicable law. Some data in Blinck may exist only on your device unless you use a synced paid feature.

When you delete your account, your data is permanently removed from our systems, except where limited retention is required by law.

8. Data Retention

We keep your data only as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service.

Local data stored only on your device remains there until you delete it, remove the app, or clear it from within the app.

Once your account is deleted, server-side account data is erased, except where retention is required by law.

9. Age Requirement

Blinck is intended for users aged 16 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.

10. Data Protection and Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access.

No system is perfect, but protecting your information is a priority.

11. International Use

Blinck is operated from the European Union. If you use the Service from outside the EU, you understand that your data will be processed under EU data protection standards.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Blinck evolves.

If changes are significant, we will notify you.
